Very soon in this year the capital of India, Delhi is hosting the common wealth games 2010. It is great honur that India has got the opportunity for hosting these games of International prestige. For the first time the people of India especially the Delhites gears upto welcome a million foreign visitors for this bigger sport event. It is the matter f huge responsibility or the government of India to ensure all the foreigners safe, sound and compatible visit.
Due to these reasons the city is experiencing a cosmetic change. There is huge improvement in transportation like the introduction of low level green DTC bus having better facilities. Moreover in East Delhi a commonwealth village has been created for providing all the facilities at one place. In ths five years there are many projects passed for building flyover and many more terminals with International brands coming up with the modernisation of Indira Gandhi Airport. But one thing arose a graeat problem. The deadlines of these mentioned project was given as January 2010, they have not been yet completed. The pace of development is very slow. Moreover in this great hurry, common people have to face hardships. More traffic has been increased on the Delhi roads. Moreover though the government is doing so many things, the nature of Indian people of polluting the city has not been curbed. It would les on keeping the be a great dishonour if there are news spread of polluted roads and air or if there is any disagree to the foreigners. To curb this government should impose strict rules on keeping the environment clean and green by giving punishment to the pers
